Impact Suite and Opportunity List Plus install a specialized add-on for Outlook to allow the users to attach an incoming email to an opportunity.

Impact Suite installs a specialized plugin for Microsoft Word allowing users to add fields from the Sage ACT! database, including custom tables, onto a template.

Both of these add-ons will be displayed in the menu system for the respective Microsoft product.

If you need to uninstall or re-install please follow these steps:


To Uninstall the Outlook and MS Word add-ons

1) Close Outlook and Word

2) Launch ACT

3) Go to the TOOLS menu and select IMPACT...

4) Click on the Plugin Information link on the lower right

5) Click on the UNRegister button 


6) You will get a confirmation when the action is completed.






To Re-install the Outlook and MS Word add-ons

1) First follow the steps above to Uninstall .

2) Click on the same button which now reads "Register Word-addon" 


3) You will get a confirmation when the action is completed.




If the Impact Outlook add-on  / plugin is not showing up then please follow these steps:

1. Close ACT, Word and Outlook
2. Open this folder"C:\Program Files (x86)\ACT\Act for Windows\Plugins\"
3. Edit the file named adxloader.dll.manifest using NotePad.exe
4. Change "Word" to "Outlook"
   FROM:
    <assemblyIdentity name="Durkin.Word.Addin.v5, PublicKeyToken=62f52de0fa3ae852" />
   TO:
    <assemblyIdentity name="Durkin.Outlook.Addin.v5, PublicKeyToken=62f52de0fa3ae852" />
   
5. Close and save the file
6. Restart ACT
7. Follow the instracutions above to uninstall/reinstall he Outlook Addon
