Impact Suite installs an add-on for Microsoft Word version 2007 through 2013. This add-on will create a new ribbon at the top of the Word application which reads "Durkin ACT!"
This ribbon allows you access ot the fields in the act! database. Using the designer panel on the left side you can add fields or lists into your templates.

To View fields in your database. The list on the left side displays all the fields from a single table. TO change tables select your desired table from the bottom list.
To insert a single field into your template.
Place the cursor on the template where you want the field
Select the desired field
Click on the Add Field button
Note- You can also double click on our desired field to insert
To insert a list of values into your template. Displays a list of all the fields in custom tables the ACT database. Use the drop down at the top of this form to change your custom table. Only custom tables will appear in this list.
To add a list of records from a child table follow these steps:
Place the cursor on the template where you want the list
Click on the ADD TABLE button
Select the desired fields
Click OK
The designer will automatically build the table as shown below
To insert a block of fields such as an address into your template.
Place the cursor on the template where you want the block of fields
Click on theAdd Block button
Using this block builder form select your desired fields
Click the ADD BLOCK button at the bottom when ready
